Grant highlighted sometimes overlooked gems that are invaluable for both report users and Webtrends administrators. For report users, these included using:



• Quick queries in the Analytics interface to cross-reference similar data in other reports


• Bookmarks and Preferences to quickly return to the reports that provide the most information to your specific needs.


For administrators, the gems included:


• Configuring custom report help cards to ensure business users understand the information presented in reports you created


• Additional uses for content group path analysis to gain more insight to paths users take throughout your web sites.



Fine showed some of the newer On Demand capabilities that will be included in the next software release of Analytics, including enhancements to page view determination, report exports, Webtrends Connect and calculated measures. He also walked through the new beta web services and the Developer Network. The new web services offer a simple, yet powerful tool for integrating Webtrends data with Excel or your own analytics reporting applications.
