This workshop detailed how to successfully implement Webtrends Smart Source Data Collector (SDC) tagging solutions. Gallagher and the attendees discussed how:

• Successful implementations should support your business’ decision making processes and be affordable, reliable, accurate, easy to maintain and adhere to relevant policies or regulations.

• Tags should be developed and maintained through Tag Builder, which provides standard reporting out of the box.

• Implementation testing and oversight is made easy through the use of HTTP request tools, such as HTTPWatch, Fiddler, Firebug, or HTTPFox.

The group also spoke about Flash implementations and how to utilize externalInterface/dcsMultiTrack.
